Jazz Loves Disney! Disney's Newest Compilation of Your Fave Jazzed Up Songs!

Disney just came out with a FANTASTIC new album!
Jazz <3's Disney!

I don't know about you, but I grew up listening to Disney Music! I had tapes and CD's of the songs from the movies I loved and I listened to them all the time! I would literally play my tapes I had when I was a kid until they literally popped out of my player, spewing their tape all over. Then I'd cry! But then, CD's came out and I think we have at least 15 different compilations and soundtracks in my house! Then I became a mom, now with 3 children ages 11, 5, and 1, and I still listen to them almost daily!

I listen because not only are they the fun songs new and old that we've all grown to love, but they remind me of the movies I grew up watching and the movies I watch with my children. I visualize the movie and scenes in my mind and I am sure my children do as well. Sometimes they even act them out for fun. The songs also remind me of my childhood and all the fun I used to have and how free I felt to be and do what I want. It gives me the chance to feel like a kid again.

The Hot Sardines

What is cool about this album is that they are all Jazz versions of the songs. It is so awesome and will give your kids a chance to hear a style of music that may not be as popular and maybe something they had never heard before but is good for the soul and that has been around for many, many years. This album was recorded in Paris, London and Los Angeles by an astounding variety of artists!

Jazz music can actually affect your brain and be either stimulating or soothing. With any type of music, you can feel the words and rhythm but more so with Jazz! I believe music helps people heal and express themselves and it also gets the creative juices flowing and gives inspiration! Music is a very important part of life! And it is very important to our lives. We turn to music when we are sad, or happy and to help us through things or when we want to have fun.

Anne Sila

We seriously loved all of these songs! I am so EXCITED! My kids and I listen to a lot of these songs regularly and it was so awesome for them to hear the jazzed up songs and recognize them and dance their tails off! My daughter especially loved the Frozen song, "Let It Go." Frozen is her FAVORITE movie and she just loves the different sound this song has. She even tries to sing a long to it. Which I think is Wonderful!

Gregory Porter

I personally love the Gregory Porter song, "When You Wish Upon A Star" from Pinocchio. I love to sing that song to my kids at night sometimes as a lullaby. It was interesting to hear this version and I think I fell in love with the song even more if that's even possible.

"You’ve Got A Friend In Me" from Toy Story by Hugh Coltman was definitely a family favorite all around. I swear we sing this song at least weekly or more. Especially when the kids get into trouble for fighting with each other. I often make them sit together on the couch and we sing this song together. :)

Hugh Coltman

I think the first time we listened to the album, we were all ready to dance but then we just sat and listened to the music and talked about how it was different and so awe-inspiring.

We do dance sessions regularly. Almost every time we get in the car and at home as our "Workout!" If you don't do a dance session at least 3x a week for 20 minutes, you are totally missing out! not only is it great exercise, it is so much fun and a perfect way to spend some good quality time with your kids in a healthy way!;)

China Moses

The artists on this album are so amazing and talented. They really jazz it up and the end result is a sophisticated fun sensationalism!
