Freebie FAQs: How to Get Stuff For Free!

Image
(Updated January 2025) Hey there, I am going to tell you how I get Freebies, but first I have to be honest... While the products and stuff I get may be free when thinking monetarily, it's not always just free, per se.  I do work hard for my free stuff. If you want to be a full time freebie finder or product reviewer, social media influencer, prepare to work hard and be on your phone or computer, a lot.  Plus the time it takes to really look at and try and prepare to review the products you received.  Each site will take time to participate in. You don’t want to overwhelm yourself when you first start. Some sites take more involvement than others, especially survey sites. I am a part of many of survey sites along with my many freebie/review/product sampling sites and communities, but I started with a few and then joined more over the years. I started survey sites and product review programs in 2011. I've been doing this for years now and put a lot of effort and time into i...

Snack and Go! With Lindsay Olives

Image
Lindsay Olives came out with a new and more convenient way of eating olives. Their new Snack and Go! Olives are totally awesome and just what we needed. Seriously. I got to try a whole pack of these from Mom's Meet and Lindsay Olives for free through the Mom's Meet Blogger Program.  As a mom of 3, I have to say we buy so many olives and they are always Lindsay Olives. There is so much you can do with them. So much fun to be had. Kids are the greatest when it comes to eating olives.  My kids love to put an olive on each finger and pretend they are creatures from another planet. It is funny because I grew up doing the same thing with my olives.  Olives. An unexpectedly fun food. Olives can be the start of any great recipe, delicious snack and the reason for the most laughter during dinner.  Last night, while I was cooking dinner and all through dinner, the kids were playing with their olives and eating them right off their fingers. They even tried to use th...

Go To Sleep, Sheep! New Cute Bedtime Story Book for Children!

Image
I recently got a copy of the new book, Go To Sleep, Sheep, illustrated by Sydney Hanson. And what a cute bedtime book it is! Firstly, it was a board book so its thicker pages and a little more heavy and sturdy. Which is great for little ones. They won't tear the pages as they turn them and they can drop it or carry it where ever and it is a little more durable and easier for them to use and play with. The story is super cute and sweet. Only a few lines on each page and then a repetitious "Go to sleep, sheep!" It is simple and fun to read and perfect for bedtime. It's not too long so you can read it again and again and pretty soon they'll be reading it to you! The illustrations are wonderful. With darling little sheep and other farm animals like cows and pigs, horses and goats, and a little kitten, it'll be a treat for your little animal lovers. The pictures are somewhat realistic illustrations. Very well done and fit right along with the story. ...

What We See In the Stars

Image
I've always been intrigued by astrology and astronomy. I often stare up at the stars at night. It's peaceful and relaxing. Well recently, I just finished reading, What We See In the Stars by Kelsey Oseid. It's more than just a starry guide, it's a piece of art and so entertaining and informative. You can tell even by the cover of this book, that it is very detailed in its illustrations. It's creative and unique and very visually appealing to the eye. The color scheme fits with the night sky and starry blanket. This book is full or informative, history, tidbits and trivia about stars, constellations, planets and comets and so much more. It is organized and looks clean and well written. Each page has again, very detailed and beautiful illustrations that bring the story and information to life. It is a very entertaining and educational read. Would be great as a coffee table book, a gift for a friend or teacher, or for fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and...

Make Every Day Special with the Do One Thing Every Day That Makes You Happy Journal

Image
One of my resolutions this year and every year is to start journaling. But to do that is challenging.  I cant always find the time or the inspiration. And then there is always the fact that I may not know what to write about.  Another resolution was to live more fully, spread kindness and compassion and love. Which is again challenging and often I do not know how to do so.  Do One Thing Every Day That Makes You Happy: A Journal is a great tool for helping achieve these very goals.  Upon first sight, I noticed the book is thick, but small and would be easy to take along, store in your desk or on a shelf. It's cover is a bright, sunshine yellow color. The title is silver but you can see colors in the letters if you move it under light but one word stands out in a rainbow colored font: HAPPY. Which is the whole point of this book, to make you happier.  With this book, each day can be special and another chance for you to exercise and refle...
